Brainstorming Event Ideas!

Wild Wild West Hunt
Margo Imako's brainchild, this hunt requires hunters to buy a badge for 200L$ from a large pick axe and shovel rotating at a railroad station near the first stop on the hunt. Hunters wear the badge while hunting and when they find the hidden gifts, the hunt object checks for the badge. No badge means no gift. Now all this money goes to RFL for cancer research and so far, if you look at the totals on the far right under the Details section, this hunt's doing pretty good. There are also off season kiosks for folks to donate if they wish. We do have a subscribo group along with this blog if you'd like to keep up to date with events and things in the works.

Still Recycling!
Recycle for Relay is still going on! Things are still being sold and the money goes into a general donation kiosk (as soon as they work out the bugs and give me one!)
And be sure to say thank you to Margo Imako for giving us the space for free!
Still have limited edition skins, skirts, and a ton of other items for sale so make sure you tell everyone!

As Relay Approaches..
We're beginning to think about next year already, ideas have already surfaced and we're brainstorming. If you'd like to be part of the team for next year then please contact JoseDiego Silverspar.
You don't have to be a merchant, own a sim, or be great at building to participate, you just have to have ideas and be willing to share them. We'll find a way to make things happen. Please be vocal, talk to each other, help plan events... so forth.
Event Ideas for Next Year:
Fail Bunneh Sale:
Ozimals created those adorable bunnies and most folks just can't get enough but everyone has a nest that disappointed them. We'll be putting these nests out for sale and all money will go to RFL. We'll need people to donate the nests of course. If someone donates a live bunny (we love them but we do have to take care of food for them the entire time) by accident, we'll do what we can to take care of the little critter.
Recycle For Relay:
This was a big hit, folks seem to love secondhand stuff and having a place to get rid of stuff they don't wear anymore so we'll be doing this again next year!
DJ Events:
Punkkitty did very well with her DJ event so we'll do it again next time around! (Not necessarily with Punkkitty, poor girl, sounded like I volunteered her without her knowledge there.) People love to dance and listen to music.
RFL Exclusive Items:
For those merchants that do join, folks love these. Talk to me (JoseDiego Silverspar) if you need more info on it.

RFL Exclusive Items
These items were created exclusively for the proceeds to go to Relay For Life. They can be found in vendors throughout the shops and locations of the members of the Mieville Steam Punks Team. Some are single vendors and some have multiple items in them so be sure to check if there are arrows showing!
The items in these vendors will only be sold for the duration of the Relay, after that they won't be sold anywhere else!
RFL - Limited Edition Items
These Limited Edition Skins were donated by PunkD Out Designs (owner: Punkkitty Fitzgerald). There are 15 of each skin available, after that there are no more! So you better come get them while they last or you'll be kicking yourself for missing out!
Each skirt is cut or decorated just a little bit differently and based on the ones in the shop or that have been given out in hunt gifts.

Recycled Items Charity Event
Running from April 18th until we run out of things to put out (or the end of Relay For Life, whichever comes first).
RELAY FOR LIFE Recycled Items Charity Event is a fundraising event of second hand items to raise money for Relay For Life - all proceeds going to RFL and is put on by the Mieville Steam Punks (Team 113). Items are secondhand, donated by creator, and even some limited edition items.
There are:
Limited Edition Skirts (from Pop Tart & Urban Assault)
Limited Edition Skins (from PunkD Out Designs)
RFL Exclusive Item Vendors
Second hand items from places like B@R, Dare Designs, Katt Krap, Canimal and more.
Donated shop items from PunkD (like a kitty fort!) and more!
I will be attaching pictures of limited edition items and so forth!
Donations/Donating:
For everyone:
We'll be having a great need for donations. Now would be a good time to go through your inventory and maybe donate some of the items you don't use anymore!
Any donations can be dropped on JoseDiego Silverspar or Mieville Steampunk (if you need to actually talk to someone, please contact JoseDiego Silverspar).
For Merchants:
Any merchant wishing to make a special item exclusively for RFL, by all means, please do! (I can give you a Relay For Life vendor and help you set it up if necessary).
Any merchant wishing to donate a few copies of an item or two from their shop(s) then please, please do! (with your store LM inside of course!)
